Designed by Geoffrey Bawa

The Bentota Dining Chair was created by Geoffrey Bawa specifically for the dining area of the Bentota Beach Hotel, serving as its primary seating. It featured a high-gloss black finish and a removable cushioned seat upholstered in cotton from Barefoot, the textile atelier founded by Barbara Sansoni, a longtime collaborator of Geoffrey Bawa.

Phantom Hands created a re-edition of the iconic furniture designed by legendary Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa for the Geoffrey Bawa Collection. Bentota Dining chair is made out of textured black red oak frame and upholstered seat in Barefoot’s fabric, Jack & Ebony. This chair is hand made in India.
